The Botanical Gardens in Brisbane City showcase the beautiful array of fauna in Queensland in a variety of sections dedicated to specific plants! It’s also home to a series of attractions including Brisbane Riverstage if you want to sing along to your favourite musician. For families, there is also the Baldwin Lawn Playground which offers a variety of play experiences for children of all abilities and ages.
You can find the Botanical Gardens entrance on the corner of Alice and Edward Streets in the CBD, with other entrances via Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
Plunge Into the South Bank Lagoon & Aquativity
Visiting South Bank is a must when in Brisbane! But, a must-do on this side of the river is the South Bank Lagoon & Aquativity Park. Located on the Brisbane River in the centre of South Bank’s extensive range of restaurants and cafes is the free beach with a pool and water park to make the experience extra fun.
